Formed in Oxford, England, the group consists of members who adopt elaborate personas and roles: Jonny d’Ville (vocals, guitar), Drumbot Brian (drums, percussion), Ashes O’Reilly (vocals, accordion), Raphaella la Cognizi (violin, vocals), Timothy "Gunpowder Tim" McGregor (vocals, guitar), and several others who contribute with various instruments and vocals.
