Tycho Members, Gear & Sound

Tycho is an innovative electronic music project originating from San Francisco, spearheaded by Scott Hansen, a multi-talented artist who also performs under the moniker ISO50 as a graphic designer. Originally a solo endeavor, Tycho evolved into a multi-member ensemble with the addition of Zac Brown (guitar) and Rory O'Connor (drums). Known for their lush soundscapes blending elements of ambient, chillwave, and downtempo, Tycho's music creates immersive experiences that transport listeners through serene sonic landscapes. Over the years, the project has expanded to include vocal contributions, notably from Saint Sinner, further enriching the texture of their recordings and live performances.

Tycho's music is characterized by its ethereal and expansive sound, often described as both melodic and ambient. The compositions weave together layers of shimmering synths and warm, analog tones, creating a dreamy, introspective atmosphere.
