Variety Lab is a French electronic music collective known for their eclectic blend of nu jazz, lounge, and electro jazz. Originating from Nancy, France, the group is spearheaded by producer Thierry Bellia, who collaborates with a core ensemble featuring Jérôme Didelot (bass), Alexandre Longo (keyboards), and Jacques Tellitocci (percussion, vibraphone). Since their emergence in 2002 with the lounge hit "London in the Rain," Variety Lab has been recognized for their sophisticated soundscapes and collaboration with diverse vocalists, as showcased in albums like Providence and Team Up!.
