A Very Versatile Drive Pedal
This pedal is by far the most versatile drive pedal I have ever used, it can go from subtle overdrive to a full on thick distortion sound. No matter how you set the controls, this pedal is guaranteed to always sound good, making it a very useable drive pedal for whatever genre you play.

A great bit of kit, once you understand it
When I first got the EHX bass mono synth, I found it very hard to dial in any synth sounds that would track well with my bass, to the point where I was going to send it back. However, after playing around with it once more, I figured out how to get amazing synth sounds on each of the 11 settings. I found the trick was to have a low sensitivity setting and a low synth volume. Doing this meant that the tracking of the pedal was highly accurate and there would no longer be any distortion or glitching sounds. The pedal is mono, meaning that playing does have to be somewhat precise and only single notes should be played to prevent a very unpleasant sound accidentally being produced.
I would still highly recommend this pedal to anyone looking for killer synth tones, I would just suggest spending a lot of time playing around with the settings if you ever consider returning it.
