My Gear 9

Super light. Ill say it again, its super light!! Great for carrying to gigs. But the sound will blow you away. Very big and full and fat. I play a GB model Ibanez, a Dangelico hollow body and it sounds great. I also play a LUKE Music Man (solid body) and it could not sound better. It is a clean "jazz" amp. If you need a clean jazz amp to go from gig to gig, I would buy this among all others. The direct line is flawless also. I go directly into the board to record and I get a great high quality smooth jazz sound on our recordings.
I am very surprised how versatile this guitar is. I play smooth jazz and need a Norman Brown style clean but also a Larry Carlton type distorted sound and it does both really well. During concerts I could play this all night, without switching between solid and hollow body. And it plays really well. The knobs are super solid, which is minor but thats all I can think of. My George Benson model has very sturdy, strong controls.
This guitar is sooooooooooooo good, and beautiful that I cant imagine how the high level LUKE can be batter. The neck is the best neck I have played. It sounds great and has a 15db knob boost built in. No need to run back to your pedals. I LOVE this guitar! Everything. Look, feel, sound. Perfect! And its very affordable. HOw can the Music Man version be better? Im sure it is but this is so awesome. I love all Music Man guitars. Super high quality and detail.
