Great fuzz
I bought one of these to get close to Bernie Torme's tone.
It's a fairly dark pedal, but I use single coil guitars and play through bright amps and set the tone at around 2 o'clock. I'm not sure how it would work with dark setups and this may be why some don't like it.
As usual, the build quality is excellent and it's pedalboard friendly in size and top-mounted jacks.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Volume a touch about unity; tone around 2 o'clock; gain around noon, but sometimes higher if the mood takes me.
Great versatility
Lots of sounds here and great mods available. Look out for a Keeley modded BD2 or just get the Keeley Super Phat Mod or the Waza version for a slightly better pedal.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Everything at 11 o'clock is my usual setting, but works so well at other settings.
