Just the rough diagnostics I guess, checking loose parts, new strings will rattle themselves of course for a while before they break in. But acoustics aren't as easy checking the intonations like an electric. Leave the strings for a while to break in and if it really comes to it. I'm sure the people at your local music store will do the guitar a world of good for a pretty good price. Sorry, couldn't help you much.
