It was awesome pedal!
I've been using this for more than 5 years now. Never leave my board since then. It has a great tube screamer type overdrive and a very versatile British distortion. Combined with warm analog delay plus an amazing cab simulator. This strip could be your pedal board core too.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Overdrive - Level @ 11 o clock, Gain @ 9 o clock and tone between 12 and 3 o'clock. Very sweet and warm.
Unique and Useful Tones
Modulation? Amp Sim? I think this great idea from Roger Linn breaks the limit of creating unique tones. No wonder many guitarists liked this pedal.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
I love the amp sims. Usually I use fender and vox amp models. You can't go wrong with these two awesome amp models.
Useful
Got this pedal to achieve a "Mayer-ish" tone. And it actually did together with my BOSS FDR-1 and lately with my Roger Linn Adrena Linn III Fender Deluxe Reverb model. And its cool that you can place it between the low gain and high gain drives to achieve a level and gain boost in one chain.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Clean level at 6 can achieve a clean and tight boost for clean solos.
