I got my schecter for a smokin deal of 400 dollars where as it normally costs about 600. The pickups are amazing and the 3 band eq is really helpful to dial in a precise tone. Phenomenal bass for any player.
I got mine a little bit dinged up at my local music shop for 350 but damn was it a good bass! Visual aspects aside this bass is amazing: it plays well, has lots of easily adjustable parts (truss rod, nut, control cavity), and has an amazing tone. If you are in need of an affordable bass that has the best amount of feature for the money, than look no further. Compared to a jazz bass of the same price, the warwick knocks it out of the park in comparison!
I got the cherry sparkle version with the v hardtail. I play in a cover band where we play contemporary rock and pop and this is pretty versatile. At home I also use this for a lot of grunge and metal and this thing has a surprisingly good distortion tone. I will say that the only drawback I had was that the included strap locks were pretty crappy. They would come loose about once every 2 days and were also rather loose in the holes so when i would tighten them the reverse threading would pull them out. I just got some dunlop straplocks and the guitar is now all ready to go. I would definitely recommend buying this for the price range, but throw in some strap locks while your at it and it will hold up just fine.
