Great Guitar!
I bought this guitar in 2008 while playing in a Weezer cover band. I was trying to replicate the sounds of the blue album when Brian Bell was using a single coil setup specifically on songs like "My Name is Jonas" and "Undone." Upon plugging the Telecaster in, my lead singer looked over and said, "Yeah, that's 100% the tone." Telecaster is iconic, the semi-hollow looks like a hybrid electric/classical style beauty. The action on the guitar was one of the best that I've ever experienced and my only complaint comes from my choice in music to play where the pickups were a little too hot and gave quite a bit of feedback and squealing with high gain/high volume combinations. If you're not playing anything too heavy, or are using a rig with a noise gate it is an easy 5 star addition to your collection.

It's...ok
I bought into the gimmicky idea of taking a electric neck and throwing it on an acoustic. But you get what you pay for and with an appealing lower cost (I believe I spent $325 on this in 2009 at Ted Brown Music Center) it has never been very playable. The Guitar Tech at Ted Brown set up the guitar for me on purchase and there have always been buzzing issues and issues playing above the 12th fret on all strings. The guitar looks awesome, and the onboard plug and play feature is great, but there is zero sustain and almost as little playability. I recently switch out the strings and went with D'addario Nylons which has made it more fun to play, but with the same issues.

Iconic Look and Sound
I purchased this guitar about six months ago. The zero fret is great, the guitar stays in tune due to the locks, even when dive bombing. The combinations of phase options and pickup isolation adds a great versatility to sound options. I'd read reviews with complaints about the neck size and shape, but it seems to fit my hand size and shape perfectly. If you like Queen or classic rock, this guitar is a fantastic piece to add to your collection. The BMG isn't just limited to Queen cover bands; I've played everything from Weezer to Metallica and The Apaches on it and it handles them all.
