More versatile than people give credit
I have no fretbuzz from my particular model which is from 1998. I don't have the push/pull vintage tone knob that some newer models have, but I can use my Sansamp YYZ pedal to get it to sound like a 4001
Preferred Settings + Usage:
My favorite setting is Bridge maxed out volume and tone with neck at about 80% volume and its tone cut most of the way.

Very good value
The Duncan QPs deliver. The buld quality is supurb. The internal electronics could be nicer, though. VERY versatile active Jazz sound.
