Eastwood Guitars Ichiban
Excellent tone and playability!
Teisco Del Ray inspired electric guitar
The Ichiban started as an upside-down Teisco Del Ray wall clock and became one of Eastwood’s best playing guitars. The name - ICHIBAN - is Japanese for “Number One” – fitting because this is the first original design from Eastwood Guitars. They added some of their favorite features - a Galanti Headstock, Mosrite fret markers, a roller bridge for tuning stability, plus a Johnny Ramone shaped pickguard equipped with dual Mini Humbuckers. The “reverse” contoured body is ultra-thin and sports a German carve - definitely Mosrite influenced. The neck is also very comfortable with a great, medium “C” profile and a smooth, natural satin finish. The pickups sound great. Each has its own on/off switch and there are master volume and tone controls. The Eastwood Ichiban is a winner – Just listen to the video demo!
