Pure Garbage

I own one of these. I've been a guitarist and luthier for over 30 years and I've never had trouble with any guitar like I've had on this one.

Issues: 1) A 27" inch scale with no carbon re-enforcing rods in the neck regardless of neck through construction makes for a wanky neck that has trouble staying in tune. 2) All the hardware was garbage. I've replaced all the hardware on mine except the pickups because: the pots are garbage and the volume knob never shut the sound off completely. Tried 2 sets of pots before I got the correct ones off ebay. So good luck with that.. The bridge is garbage and had to be replaced with a Hipshot. That was fun.. The stock nut cut on the G string was cut too deep and always made the string buzz and had to be replaced with a Graph Tech Schecter 48mm nut. Thank God that worked! The black production Grover tuning keys could not hold the heavier strings in tune especially with a floppy neck. The headstock and tuner holes are small and can only fit a "mid" size tuner. Grover 404's. (old style lockings) I could only find them in chrome. Had 2 buy 2 sets of tuners to make that work for a 7 string. The guitar has the worst double action truss rod ever made? I don't know.. but it has a lot of slack in between unusable adjustments. Like 8 freaking turns. lol.. Garbage, and put in the neck wrong as far as I can tell. Did all this to try to make this thing stay in tune for recording.

Summary: I wouldn't wish this guitar on an enemy. Don't buy Any extended range guitar without carbon rods in the neck if the scale is over 26" inches. Hell! don't buy Any extended range guitar without carbon rods and an evertune, And Stay away from Rondo! You'll thank me.
