Hey guys,

I hope this post isn't out of place, but I thought some of you may be interested. I know that there was a ton of buzz last week after Ed Sheeran's "hug of death" here on Equipboard, and a lot of questions as to what his "Chewie 2" system was doing and why he'd use that instead of a conventional looping system.

I took some time to write a blog about his system, and just wanted to share it with anyone who's interested.

Hey guys, just wanted to jump in as my head has been spinning ever since that performance as well! Awesome PR for Equipboard with that article coming from quite a few sources.

For anyone who wants to carry on with a discussion about the Chewie, I feel I've got a pretty good understanding of what's happening under the hood on that thing, and I've built a similar system (though using off-the-shelf components) after having many of the same struggles he did with his older looper.

I'm happy to chat with anyone who has questions about his rig- or has something to share about it that I don't know!
