I bought this to replace my first guitar, which was a cedar top Takamine that was given to me. My heart was broken. I bought this Eastman used, from a small shop on Reverb, so I had know idea how it sounded. I had never heard or played a guitar with a top made from Adirondack Spruce. I cannot describe what a unique and mysterious tone it has developed over the years. This guitar has truly become the love of my life and my best friend. I have written over half of my songs using it and played it in many settings, from intimate house shows, to raucous punk and metal venues, and even a few outdoor festivals. It has always been there when I needed it and has never let me down. Thanks Eastman.

I bought it specifically to keep on my 18-wheeler because of it's size and laminate construction. I've had it for about two years now and I love it and use it on stage as well as practice. It has a great tone, plugged or unplugged. I've always been impressed, and complemented, by the quality, look, and feel of this affordable guitar. To me, it is worth well over what I paid for it.
