The pickups on this guitar are really good quality for a starting and sounds great coming out of my Fender Sidekick Reverb 25 amp. I can navigate up and down the neck fairly easily, but the machine heads are a little confusing because they are on the bottom of the headstock, instead of the top. Other than that, this is a very solid guitar and is good for beginners.
