buying a synth

I'm looking to buy a synth I so far have nexus 2 and fl plugins of these three which do you guys think is better? 1. cakewalk z3ta+ 2. kv331 audio synthmaster 3. sylenth

Sylenth is the most popular software synth on Equipboard, in terms of the number of people who use it.

I don't personally have experience with any of the three you're considering, but it looks like they all have free demo versions available. Have you given them a try?

If you try the demos, I'd be curious to know which one you like best and why. Report back. :)

thanks simfonik for those links. I've tried all three and it seems to me that it's easy to create a sound from scratch on Cakewalk but it felt a bit limited. With Synthmaster it looks much more complicated but seems to have a better sound to it and looks much more manipulable. (is it possible for one synth to have a better overall sound to it than another?) I haven't got deep into Sylenth yet and it's a bit more expensive.

z3ta+2 is anything but limited: man, it is fantastically in-depth and complex. You can really make some wild sounds with it, trust me. If you wait until steam sale time (next one will be late July some time) you can get z3ta+2 for 75% off which is amazingly cheap
