John Williams' 1981 Synthwave Score

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5nrKe57qo0

The film itself is a disaster nobody should have to watch, but John Williams doing John Carpenter-esque synth jams... it works for me. Check it out if you love things that sound like Escape from New York.

I had the misfortune of seeing Heartbeeps in 1981, as a 4-ish year old. The commercials looked so cool, and I asked if we could go see it, and it was just so so miserable. I felt so bad for my parents having to sit through it with me. The phrase "my bad" didn't exist yet, but that's 100% what it was.

Do you know how truly wretched a movie has to be, for a 4 year old to be embarrassed and ashamed he asked his parents to take him? I still remember that shame 43 years later... Heartbeeps is THAT awful.
