Need help with purchasing a beginner lvl DJ controller

hi everybody, planning to learn more about DJng and i dont know what Dj controller should i buy. which is the best for the start( 300-500$) (i want to buy a one which will work properly.

Have you thought about something like the Pioneer DDJ-SB2? Or the Pioneer DDJ-WEGO3?

Are you simply trying to learn how to DJ?

Any idea why the latter is more expensive than the former? with SB2 you can do more things and its bigger. The only thing that wego3 has more is the iphone-ipad compatibility and the light around the wheels :p (joking). Any good opinions on these, cause i'm interested also in djing and these 2 seam nice for beginners

Sorry for the late reply. The best beginner level software out there would be virtual dj I guess. A numark controller such as the mixtrack line works very well. For a time I used my laptop keyboard as a controller mapping the software to it. I still virtual dj. The pro 4-deck version though and I'm using a xone k2 controller now. Still, that's the best offer in my opinion. A mixtrack pro 2 with vdj.

If you're interested in dj'ing mate, well it depends on what software you're using but a numark mixtrack controller with virtual dj is perhaps one of the best combinations out there.

I would suggest the traktor kontrol S line. They are great for beginners and they work with most of the typical dj software (traktor, serato, virtual dj). The usual price is 350-600.
