New MIDI controller development community!

Hey everybody! We are building a MIDI controller aiming at increasing expression and providing a new way to interact with music. I am not here to sell anything as there are still advancements to be made :). I am however looking to build a development community to further understand the music creation space and to assess feedback from anybody that joins, if anybody would be interested to be apart of the development community, Please Message me (PM)!!

We will create an exclusive online group where we will share content and showcase our MIDI controller, we will be awaiting your constructive feedback and make developments accordingly.

P.S. We are aiming to create a controller that brings another dimension of playability to the digital audio workstations and Daw-less setups. Our controller includes a user friendly interface that we believe provides a more intuitive way to create and alter music. This interface also allows for more expression and is riddled with MPE controls.

Good luck to you. If you want beta testers, count me in! I'll put your prototype through its paces.

Don't neglect a traditional midi DIN connection (maybe put 2 or 3 parallel outs for those who don't own a midi patchbay or distributor wishing to manipulate various synths simultaneously), it's way more stable than USB and doesn't require a host... and a lot of us use pre-USB gear anyway. If you do mini midi on 1/8" trs connectors please provide a switch to go from the now standard korg pinout to the novation pinout. I wouldn't complain if you put a bunch of CV outputs on it. A lot of next gen midi gear neglects the modular crowd.

Let me know if I can beta test for 30 days. And don't forget to incorporate if you're planning to market your invention.

Regardless, thank you for reaching out to this community. While we may be small in terms of conversation volume, this means that the topics that do come up get A LOT of attention before they get pushed to the bottom of the stack.

Any interesting updates or questions you have are likely to get eyeballs and answers here.

Hey Pkennethk, This is certainly a great forum for communicating to great musicians! We will soon have a landing page together, however currently we use a Facebook community to converse. The purpose of this is we are not yet ready to present our controller to the world, as developments are still to be done. We showcase our controller within the community and motivate feedback from the members within the group, we have found it is a really great way to establish a feedback loops!
