Ha! The darkness isn't the problem so much as the lack of any sun during the times you're NOT working.

A lot of us would get pretty depressed (like me) if they had no solar exposure for weeks at a time.

I've had night-shift jobs before - I get a little weird if I don't get a few good minutes of sun each day... but some people are just fine.

Tomorrow, I'm gonna try to get a Codanova VMX VJ for 40€ (good state, with box).

Also I still have to share how I use the VMX V64. I would like to control timeline with the job, but still have the problem. I haven't really worked on the plugin, because I had other stuff to work on.

Good news!
I almost got my VMX VJ bought by someone else, but the guy was nice, and cancelled the other guy offer, and took mine (because for the shipping, I suggested we use another website that is kinda better, but I guess that other people were waiting for an occasion like this one (the guy who did the offer to the seller did it 2 minutes after the thing was up)).
So yeah! Can't wait to have a second thing from Codanova!

Yeah!
I'll try to turn it into a sampling machine.
I just managed to map a jog wheel on the time thing.
When I'll work again on my VMX V64 control surface, it will be way easier now that I have the knowledge.

It can:
Launch clip with the 16x4 matrix,
Manage every tracks volume, including master in alt mode and with using the jog wheel,
Manage up to 3 send to return,
Manage tracks selection, solo, mute, arm and panning (with alt mode),
Manage time with the jog wheel,
Launch scenes in the scene launch mode,
Can move the cursor (in session vue), and launch clip manually.
I'm planning on adding other stuff.

Nice to hear some music this time around. Great job! Are you all done with reconditioning/modifying the hardware itself? Everything else you want to add is just via software, right?

Well I would like to modify the firmware, but it would be a true challenge.
Other challenges I'm facing rn, is to modify the state of the buttons using Midi, because I know it's possible, but it's super random, and to add Audio and Midi effects using surface control scripts for the VMX VJ (because I would like to have a mode for the 8 faders to act as an equalizer for a selected track).
