Top keyboard

Hello to all, my friends! I’ve just added to my setup a Nord Stage 2 and I’m in love. I’d like to add a top keyboard in order to simulate Snurky Puppy/Cory Henry tipe of sound. I know that Prologue and Moog Sub 37 would be the best choices but They definetly are not cheap. What do u suggest to start with? Everyone would think of Minilogue I suppose but are there alternatives? Someone once suggested me a King Korg, for example. Obviously I’d like to stay on a low budget, some starter… Thank you all!

Congratulations on acquiring a Nord Stage 2! I'm so happy to hear you were able to make that happen. :)

GEAR:
  • Roland TR-808 Rhythm Composer
  • Roland SH-101
  • Roland TR-909 Rhythm Composer

I own a prologue. Its a great old school poly that has a lot of class for the money. But on a budget? If. The prologue is a great deal already under $1k. If it's too steep watch the used market for a less desirable vintage synth. The korg poly61 lacks knob per function controls for example but has a great sound and trades for peanuts.

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

Thank you! And it's just perfect, even better of my happiest expectation!
