Adding artist issue

Another issue I'm also experiencing is adding a new artist but I can't seem to add the desired artist because (I'm assuming) the artists name appears in Japanese on MusicBrainz. Is there any way to bypass this? (I'm adding well known/famous Japanese musicians such as Toshiki Kadomatsu, Yoshino Fujimal, CHAR, etc)
