ADPTR AUDIO Streamliner

This plugin has been released over a year and there was no entry for it. When I started to enter it, it said it already existed and I shouldn't add an identical item, but the item it referred to was Adptr Magic AB, which is a completely different plugin entirely.

I just wish I could come here and select plugins that have already been added, but it seems every time I come there, I'm adding them myself. Last time I had to add 4, and now here's another that was released over a year ago, and I had to add it =(

You added the item manually, and it gave you this message, correct?:

The following items already exist on Equipboard. Please don't add a duplicate, and don't create a new item if all that differs is:

• Year
• Color

If you're sure you're adding a unique item, press Next at the bottom:

followed by a list of all items that contain the phrase ADPTR

The interface is not accusing you of trying to add a duplicate, it is showing all the existing items it can find containing similar phrases, to make sure you're not adding a duplicate. It does this for anything you try to add.

Was this the experience you had, and, if so, how do you think it could be improved?

It definitely does give you the impression that you're about to enter a duplicate, and who knows how many other people over the course of a year thought about adding streamliner and turned back at that point. I've bought more plugins by smaller developers and I know they aren't gonna be in the database, and I can't be bothered adding them everytime, when I don't have enough time already to do the things I really "should" be doing.
