Anybnody heard the new polyphia album

I'm working on some kind of review of it that's currently at 3k words, so as you can tell I love it. Any opinions?

can you link it? I don't even know what you are talking about?

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

Sounds alright to me. I'd listen to it if I were on a long car ride, but it wouldn't be an every day music for me.

Kind of sounds like if Animals as Leaders made a soundtrack for Sonic The Hedgehog 2.

Yeah. It's a lot different from their previous albums, and Tim's guitar playing on this album is very reminiscent of Tosin's, a lot of slapping, and tapping.

As proggy metal goes, it's a pretty good album, but I would prefer to listen to a little more advanced heavier stuff - BoO, AAl, Periphery, BTBAM, etc, though that Chon, vitalism, sort of thing can be cool. Also does anybody know why Born of Osiris fired Jason Richardson?

What I appreciate about BTBAM, even though I no longer listen to them, is that they sound exactly the same Live as they do on the album. They do a great job of setting the audio for each show.

Yeah, a lot of bands these days can't even play well live, let alone get the same sound.
