It's that time of year again, and folks have started emailing me deals for black Friday.

buy any Apollo interface, get a free mix satelight (plus a bunch of plugins)

for those who aren't sure what that means-

the UA plugins are often memory hogs so they have DSP processing offloading options in their hardware BUT-

The DSP in the Apollo interfaces ONLY are used when TRACKING & printing audio in thru those plugins in real time.

The mix satelight DSP is for MIXING only.

If UAD is your bag then this is the time of year to get in.

I tried it and I really like it... haven't kept it in a mix yet though, but I iamgine it will be just the ticket eventually.

Gonna give it a shot later today. Never really liked the UAD Plate (outside of a few specific applications, it ain't all bad)
