Feature request: Better filters for gear

Hello! One feature I would really appreciate is if I could find an ordered list of what gear is the most used among the pros that I follow.

For example: Sylenth1: 8 of the pros you follow Nexus: 7 of the pros you follow Massive: 6 of the pros you follow

etc.

We're working on a new page that will let you filter gear by categories. I could see your idea implemented as a filter that could be applied to this page. Here's a sneak peek:

So if I were looking at: Musical Instruments > Studio Recording Gear > Computer Recording Maybe it would be interesting to then filter those results further by artists/pros?

I could see that being really useful if I was looking for something specific, like a new audio interface, and wanted to get an idea of what my favorite artists use.

Would love to hear other people's thoughts on this.

Haha, interestingly enough; that's exactly why I wanted that functionality! I'm in the market for a new pair of monitors. Last time, I bought monitors based on a review and was never really pleased with the sound of my speakers, but now I want to hear mixes the same way my favourite artists do.

Yeah I personally can't wait for this to be released. It would be super helpful to have more filters on the site and just be able to browse gear. For example there are SO many synth plugins on Equipboard (both popular and obscure) that are used not just by the pros but also other users, and I could discover and play with so much more stuff... but as of now I just have to rely on getting lucky with either search or random browsing to come across it all.

Again, can't wait for this to come out!!
