group listed as an artist and not a band/group

https://equipboard.com/pros/run-d-m-c https://equipboard.com/pros/public-enemy

I noticed that these two are listed as single artists and not groups even though they are obviously groups

@pkennethk can I get a opinion on that to have those two artists removed and added as groups?

That's a holdover from the earliest days of equipboard. I concur with you, but I don't think I have the ability to change it. We need an admin. Mods don't actually have a lot of powers.

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

I'm technically an admin, although I don't know why I wasn't made a moderator instead. Looking at both pages, I'm not given much option to change them, even to delete and redo things manually. I think the right course of action would be to delete the artist pages and create a new group page, or even edit the group pages that include them (i.e. the "groups" of Run DMC & Aerosmith, Moby & Public Enemy, respectively) but even as an admin, I'm not offered that functionality on Equipboard.

GEAR:
  • Ableton Live
  • Shure SM7dB
  • Schecter CV-5

Facepalm

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

Thanks for agreeing with me, I hope we can get this taken care of ASAP

If an Admin is willing to take care of this that'll be great!
