hell yea

Just passed my driving test first time!

Nice, what car do you have then?

I aint, I need to get one and insurance soon haha. My grandma and granddad are on about adding me to there insurance on their Citreon picasso because we need a relitively large car for the pushchair to fit in and still be able to chuck shopping in and all that lot. First thing I'm doing once I have a car is taking my fiancee and two kids to bicester to see some friends of ours and just to get away from southampton for abit

god, strollers (pushchairs, prams) are such a pain. I am glad Lu Is done with that and I am not having any more. If my marriage had lasted we woulda had another one with all the fun of the 1st year. UGH! I do NOT envy your second child. The 1st time was kinda fun (or woulda been if I had a different spouse), but getting that kid to potty training age unscathed is such a relief that I can't imagine jumping back in. I give you and your almost-wife credit for boldly going for #2 when you're not even old enough to drink in the USA. I felt ill-prepared for 1 little boy at 32. Then again I already took care of a spoiled little girl who was 33 years into her toddler-hood.

Hailie doesn't use her pushchair and walks everywhere these days too, its nice, shame their little legs can't keep up as easy most of the time but alwell.

I just can't wait to drive, now just need our passports and European tour here we come!

OMG, my kid is a MUTANT! Lucian can walk like a half mile at a solid clip. He likes me to pick him up and carry him if there are weird people around like in a store or at the mll, but when the weather is good he will just walk off with me and walk to his aunt's if he's in the mood! and its not that close!

Lucky! ours will only walk if she allowed to walk stupid slow, we tend to walk a mile everyday with her, she doesn't really hate it but she hates holding hands to cross the road or whatever and is now scared of cars thanks to a prick who thought it would be really funny to drive through the puddle and soak us both. everyone else drove around it but no, not this fuck he nearly clipped the curb doing it. if he bothered to stop at the roundabout I would have gone mental at him

I wish Lucian had more fear of assholes and dangerous things. He has no sense of caution even after he gets hurt...

Is he slightly on the spectrum? I'd get him tested

No, he's been tested and is NOT autistic, he is just a very boyish boy. If he were autistic he would be afraid of everything. He's gregarious, chatty and fearless. Lucian just brushes of pain. He got his mother's whacky impulsiveness and his father's total indifference to discomfort (though like me he is whiney when he's sick... but I am also a guy who played a jazzband competition as a kid on a broken finger). I was a lot more cautious as a kid, but Lucian is more brazen like a lot of little boys. He's not a crybaby though so I guess its okay as long as I continue to keep him out of lfe threatening trouble until he gets a little older and it all clicks.

Congratulations!

When you get in you car, make sure to watch out for four basic things not on the test:

1) Idiots who don't bother with their turn signal

2) Idiots who are on their phone while driving

3) Idiots who drift into your lane without looking

4) Idiots in general

Good advice. Also, do use bumper stickers. If I get cutoff in traffic and see a a symbol, belief, or political stance... I will forever hunt down the people associated with that media.

Already do that. Used to it from crossing the road with indicators. Also have had a,few people do that to me on lessons. I tend to be able to tell if they're gunna and just hold back abit to be on the safe side.

In Britain, there's alot of twats on the road though

LOL try driving in Los Angeles, it's a mess there.

Surely cant be worse than London? Haha

I didn't know you could drive in London, I thought it was a permanent traffic jam, and Londoners had evolved to livein their cars, off of overpriced inner city coffe, and edgy street food.

Haha. The few times traffic is moving it can be insane lol. But god I both love and hate london

In Los Angeles, they blame YOU for THEIR mistakes.

Exactly the same here! Fucking annoying
