Based on what you know about the rest of the pedalboard, what role is this mini pedal most likely playing? E.g. is anything else on this board a reverb? Has the tuner already been identified?

Its a pitch shifter and sampler, allowing you to alter the pitch of your guitar signal and create layered soundscapes with ease.
So He put that into the Death By Audio Robot , to let the Bot Glitch.
