I've been researching the deep dark depths of the Internet trying to find out what effect Cage the Elephant uses in the lead riff in "Aberdeen." Sadly, I've found nothing, will someone please help me out because it is such a cool effect and I want to know what it is.

Based on my own research over the past year, this is a near impossible question to answer. To know what gear a person uses may turn up, but what pedals they use in a specific song means to tune in your ear while keeping in mind what pedals an artist uses.

Try watching some live shows, maybe you can get a glimpse of the guitarist's board.
