I'm a beginner

I have recently decided to mess about creating music, this is just for fun and i was hoping to get a few tips on what equipment is good for a beginner (i am looking for cheap stuff because it will be a hobby) and also what i would need equipment and software wise.

What instrument do you play? If you play guitar I'd suggest starting on an acoustic guitar (because it helps build up strength in your hands and is harder to play then an electric one). I quiet like Taylor guitars and think that might be good to start off with. I'm also a big fan of all Gibson guitars but those are normally really expensive. Just a tip, sometimes certain colours of the same guitar are significantly cheaper for whatever reason (less popular etc.) so I would suggest looking out for that. You can also get cheap guitars off ebay but check the reviews because you want to make sure your getting good quality equipment! Good luck :)

Hi, I'm a DJ, and I'm trying to produce. But I can't get my songs done. I'm using FL Studio everytime i start something i can never finish, i get lost in my ideas. I have plenty ideas but I don't know correctly how to put them on the software right. I don't play any instruments by the way.
