is th ehx bass soul food analog?

it's hard to find out if a pedal is analog or not. maybe equipboard should clarify if a pedal is analog or digital.

i found one page online that says the ehx bass soul food is analog, and usually overdrives are analog. i just want confirmation.

yes, there are very few standalone distortion effects for guitar or bass that are digitally modelled... you see digital modulation, delay and reverb all teh time but the lsit of distortions is surprisingly short outside of multi-FX units
