No.

You're over 500 GearIQ now. You get to do it yourself. Congrats!

Only use the manual override for items that don't have Sweetwater, Reverb "/p/", or other type of link that would be accepted in the main Add interface.

This is your personal Teisco K-3L, for your own Equipboard, correct? Or is this for an Artist submission?

Do you mind if we use this photo for the entry? It's got that blank background thing going on... makes it look a little nicer in your profile.... tried to find red like yours, but no luck. sorry!

that's alright! I'm gonna repaint 'em soon as well so the color isn't really a huge factor.

Man that fuzz is so impolite, I love it. That fuzz and your Teisco are making me wanna go listen to Siamese Dream.

Hi, @pkennethk. As 500 points are still in progress, could you help me adding these items?

https://reverb.com/item/6114533-1966-standel-vintage-the-super-imperial-xv-model-si15-2x15-140w-solid-state-guitar-combo-amp

https://mightyfineguitars.com/inventory/gibson-l-5-1937

I know for sure the artist I want to submit this item to was using a 1937.

And you may check out my latest submissions, in case you may find something to be marked as correct and thus take me a step closer to 500.

You're almost there, Kowalski!

Re: Gibson L-5 acoustics on Equipboard, oh my... what a wretched mess (this is not your fault, of course). There's no need for a separate entry for every year of the L-5... but I understand your are trying to keep things consistent with how other users have been doing it. We need to get things aligned with how Reverb has categorized these instruments, so there are just 3 entries:

Gibson L-5 1922-1933

Gibson L-5 1934-1938

Gibson L-5 1939-1958

(there are CES models with pickups, Premier models with cutaways and reissues and whatnot, of course, we're just talking about the original 36 years of acoustic models that were regular edition L-5s)

(I share all this so anyone reading this thread can get a better idea of what is expected going forward)

Anyway, use this entry:

https://equipboard.com/items/gibson-l-5-1934-1938

I'll circle back on that Super Imperial and your submission reviews as time allows today. Cheers!

Thank you!

And thanks for helping me this time. The only thing that upsets me about the Standel amp is that it’s stated as a bass amp for some reason though it’s a guitar amp. Can we do something about it?

P.S. I’ve revised the item’s page.

No need to get upset, just fix it. You have the power :)

Sorry about that: Standel made a Super Imperial XV that was specifically for bass, but I didn't realize there was a separate "Super Imperial XV" in the same style case with vibrato and reverb channels that was specifically guitar. My mistake, thanks for correcting.

I've got a question. Do you know how to use a book as a proof, sharing a link to buy a book on amazon, etc. or link to google books page, where it's partially accessible (though has what I need) or uploading a screenshot of page that contains what I need? What to do if it requires the words on the two pages to quote?

P.S. I just quoted some lines from a book and used its google books page as a source, along with images where possible (and they're stated as a source in this case while a link to the book page is in "details").

Check out what've done now, I think they're quite good. I've also provided some extra information for the first submission I've ever made (Jorma Kaukonen's Guild Thunderbird) and messed up with the picture (because was working on a lotta submissions at a time), accidentally uploaded a non-related to this submission picture, so I removed it and put the old image back, but now it should be reviewed to be marked as correct again.

You're very thorough, Kowalski. I appreciate that. :)

Re: best approach to referencing a book, I think book title, author name, publication date, page #, and the relevant quote are sufficient. If a scan or screen cap is legally available for the passage in question, that helps too, in terms of reenforcing the validity of your claim. That said, I am in no way qualified nor authorized to issue opinions on matters concerning an author's or publisher's copyrighted material, as it pertains to this service and community. Well, I'll probably leave things as they are now. I personally think I've provided things I submitted with enough information I was able to find.

I see you marked only one item from the recent ones as correct. Is something wrong with the others?

I'm not an employee of Equipboard. I volunteer my time here. I review what I can, but I can't review everyone's requests on-demand by myself. I hope you understand.
