Better Ringo than Paul... my beatlemaniac heart will break when Paul dies. I love that guy. Although Ring is Lucian's favorite Beatle (he narrated 2 seasons of Thomas the tank and sang Octopus's Garden after all) so my son is going to be crushed if he dies.

See, every musician who died this year added a year to Keef's life through Keef's long-running arrangement with Satan. I predict Keith Richards will be smoking and drinking for years to come. He will probably outlive us all.

on a side note, I read that Wayne Static's wife killed herself.

She killed herself I think because just about a year ago Wayne Static died from a possible suicide. Overdosed with prescription drugs and booze.

oh, wow, he got depressed about being himself and checked out before his wife got tired of being married to a one-hit-wonder, cartoon-metal front-person. But seriously, the whole thing is quite sad. I do however respect someones' right to call it quits when they just cannot go on physically or even mentally as long as they discuss it with their nearest and dearest and do not leave anyone in the lurch who doesn't have it coming.

I am thinking Wayne didn't discuss his suicide with his wife.... though maybe she drove him to it and then couldn't live with the guilt. Wives can be quite horrible, you know.
