Rolling Internet Outages?

Since Friday afternoon, people in Lubbock have been having rolling outages throughout the day. Yestersay, a group of people in Diablo 3 were saying they too were getting this. Some of these people were in Oregon, some were in Kentucky.

Are any of you getting this as well? State Yes or No followed by what state or country please.

The conspiracy side of me is already assuming the new government is installing some new material into our internet if you are ;)

and our weather's been shitty so there would be an excuse.... the thing about conspiracy theories is they assume that a alrge group of egomaniacal, wealthy power jockeys can agree for more than 15 minutes in order to institute a malevolent, secret scheme... and they presuppose a bevvy of loyal and discrete goons willing to carry out said scheme

I just lost internet twice again. I found a map of internet outages and it shows the US is having a ton of outages all over. All of Europe has a few, but not much.

well, we just got another nasty rain/wind storm so I assume I'm next... which will suck if it happenss because I am cybercommuting today

Los Angeles area, nope. We also have surprisingly shitt- actually, I wouldn't call it shitty. It really just looks like California is finally going to have a steady and balanced four seasons unlike the past years when it was straight extreme warmth to heat waves and a bit of cool weather if you won the fucking lottery.

I haven't had the net drop since Sunday. Seems it's stopped. I in my attempt to find why this was happening, I found some news/propagnda/soap opera material on Donald Trump wanting to limit the internet.

Who knows if it was even his idea. I'm sure world governments have always wanted to limit the amount of information we have.

yup, nothing new.... read up on the hubbub surrounding the 1st printing press and then once the Church got over that, the enormous hullabaloo over translating the bible from Latin and putting it into print for anyone to read.... and that's just on the bible front! This was the era where the church and monarchs invented book banning. I think limiting internet access for us proles is just a variation on controlling the printing press and burning printed material. Ya just can't contain ideas though. They push the pimple down and it pops up bigger someplace else. You wanna control the populace you need to be subtle. Don't limit access to information, try to limit interest, subtly encourage apathy. I think that's what the USA has been good at for the last 100 years. But Trump is about as subtle as a howitzer...

not that I buy into covertly planned internet outages.
