Shoegaze / DreamPop bands???

** Posts your band of Shoegaze or Dreampop band here!!! **

I'm Marcos, guitarist of Turmallina

Turmallina is an alternative rock band from São Paulo, Brazil, created in 2018.

Influences range from shoegaze and dream pop (DIIV, Wild Nothing, Westkust, Slowdive, Cocteau Twins, Yo la tengo), to the local independent scene (Lupe de Lupe, Eliminadorzinho, Terno Rei).

Through their arrangements full of textures, the group proposes to transport the listener to another world, the world of dreams, hazy and colorful, as opposed to the gray and chaotic real world, exploring very personal themes in their lyrics, such as maturation, love, and longing.

I just started listening to one Central American alternative shoegaze band this week (Margaritas Podridas) so open to giving a South American shoegaze band a listen too :-) Listened to "Aeronave". Nice vibe, reminds me a bit of The Concretes (Swedish indie-pop band from the early 2000's)

Thanks!!! I appreciate!

I will listen to The Concretes right now, my favorite band is from Sweden but is a psychedelic-rock band, Dungen.

Nice! I'll listen to your music later when I get the time

As a solo artist, well I mostly do psychedelic rock but occasionally cross over into shoegaze. Here's my most shoegaze-y album, "Tornado"!

Thanks so much, glad you liked it :D "Burning Star" was quite an emotional song for me, I wrote it at a difficult time in my life (in fact I went through a tough breakup and wrote "Burning Star" on the same day), in fact most of the album had similar kind of themes

I listened to your album "Aurora", and love it!!! Vocals and guitars are great throughout the album, it has a nice summery feel to it. My favourite tracks were "Trilhos" and "Nádia", great ways to start and finish an album, love that guitar solo near the end of "Nádia"!!!
