Submission Deletion

I realized relatively recently that it is incorrect and have added a new submission that is more correct.

Just realized I put the wrong link. It now goes to the submission rather than the page for the gear itself.

I just marked compeltely incorrect, now any other Mod can delte it... @pkennethk @hashimoto

From what I can tell from the other thread, admins seem to have the ability to? I'm not sure.

of course they do, but there was notice they were giving us the ability to do it recently and I thought it was implemented, but I guess not yet? my bad, redfire

I can just Edit submission or Rate. Sorry.

Hello, I realized I made a mistake regarding a piece of gear used by guitarist Issei Noro.

I confused his TC-Electronics G-Major with the D-Two model, which look almost identical.

I've now uploaded the correct gear, but I'd like to remove the incorrect entry. Thank you very much.

Thanks for letting us know. I have marked the original D-Two submission as incorrect and approved the new G-Major submission.

The D-Two submission will no longer appear on Issei Noro's Equipboard unless a user specifically chooses to turn off their incorrect submissions filter.

I've had a few incorrect submissions myself over the years, everyone here has... at first it seems strange that you're forced to live with your self-reported mistakes, but you'll learn to live with it.

As of right now, only the Admins can delete submissions, and they generally only delete when someone has posted completely inappropriate/offensive material of zero value. I've never seen an honest mistake like this get deleted.

By the way, your submission for the G-Major was superb. You listed the exact min:sec and you even had the video cued up to the right spot in your YouTube link. THANK YOU!
