This is pretty funny! But ain't there a video of Metallica briefly covering smells like teen spirit on mtv somewhere on youtube?

I meant Grohl, who is also a pretty funny guy.

dave grohl was nirvanas drummer from 1990-1994 though :P

Rumor has it, he is the drummer for that horrible band Ghost now as well.

Finally somebody who doesn't just think ghost are amazing. They're actually a bit crap. Tbh I don't think he is a ghoul though.

I bought an album from them when they were Ghost B.C. and couldn't even listen to it all the way through. Boring musicianship. The lyrics come off like a child who wanted to feel powerful wrote them. The girly way they choose to sing the songs... uggh. Just... it's like.... anti-metal.

They were Ghost B.C. for the American tour. Frankly, they are supposed to be a Satanic band and all. Their new album is fairly good in my opinion, but they're more just an alternative metal thingy. The fact that wiki say "doom metal" and "heavy metal" is a bit of a disgrace to me.

If you want good stuff, get some of that death metal.

Satanic. What a load of crap. They aren't doom, or heavy metal to me either. They are effectively lullabys.

Most of the songs I've heard are like love songs to Lucifer. "You are so pure and beautiful. Such a gift. I think I'm spotting".

Their sales gimmick is Satan, their approach is Taylor Swift.

didn't south park cover that sorta repurposed pop music only with Christian rock? where cartman sings all the sleezy love songs to Jesus?

First time I listened to Ghost, I was caught by that bassline from Pinnacle to the Pit. Took me a few weeks to understand everything going on with the lyrics.

Definitely not "heavy metal", but I wouldn't go as far as to say it's a Taylor Swift approach.
