Whats up with all the non musician profiles

i've been seeing a lot more non musicians showing up especially youtubers, and a few athletes. Idk what the communities thoughts are on this but it just seems weird to me since i always saw this sight as a hub for musicians and bassists to bounce ideas off each other, ask questions and check out peoples gear.

im just on not sure how i feel about seeing a youtuber who has shown their audio interface and mic set up or a picture on their instagram with a guitar getting a profile

theyre bassists, theyre similar to drummers but bassisits dont require adult supervision at all times like a drummer does
