Any amp recommendations?

I’ve been thinking about getting a new amp for a while, so I want some recommendations from all who want to give some. I want one that’s cheap, but that sounds good.

Again too less Informations,.... Is the AMP only for Home use, or you will play in a Band or even in a Bar , at School, Open AIR ? Is there a Sound you looking for ? Like Amazing Clean , Pedal Platform , Needs to be Tube AMP or Not, or Amazing Gain AMP when an Gain AMP in which direction , Vox Gain, Marshall Gain, Crunch, or Heavy Gain ? An AMP is the most important for me when it comes to sound you can buy everyting cheap but the AMP for me I would spend some money, but there also people happy with the sound of AMPs do not cost so much and there are also some AMPs sound good or OK-ish at low price. And do you really need an AMP or you might wanna go for PC Plug ins or a Pedal AMP, ....

Like I said before in one Post ... look 1st what sound you wanna go for and what Use of the AMP is for , as far I can see you got already a small AMP I think for Home Use ? You might wanna go bigger now then you can play also in a Band, or you search just still something only for Home but just with better sound ?

For me Tube AMP sound the best, but they are expensive and they are also loud, here mostly cheap are recommend Vox15, Hot Rod Deluxe VI, Marshall DSL but you can play them not very cranked at home you need then pedals for Gain or an Attenuator. when you wanna stay with Transitor AMP , you might go for a Boss Katana like the Artist you can also record Music with, or a Fender Tonemaster , they sound great as Transitor AMPs also when I think Tube AMP just sound even much better, they are close to this sound and they can also be loud enough you might can use in a Band too.

But always look out for the Sound you wanna go for then choose the AMP for this point , like I can say now buy a Fender but you wanna sound in the direction of classic Metal like Metallica it would not make sense at all to buy a Fender, your profile says Alternitive Rock , mostly used Fender, Marshall, VoX as Pedal Platform, but even here is a lot of difference in sounds you might like or not, or you even might go for cheaper version of these sounds.

And on AMP when you got the possibilities go in a shop and try them out, its then much easier to find the right one.

I see a lot of Guitars on Your Wishing List, believe me an AMP is more important to the Sound and you will have much more fun playing guitar with a good AMP, Guitars are not so much important, they only need to be playable.

Tricky. Do you want a tone machine or a pedal platform?

A small amp for playing at home, or a larger one for live performances? In either case, if you're on a budget I'd suggest looking at your local used market. I managed to get two practice amps, a 15W Line6 Spider and a 15W Marshall bass amp, both for half the original prices on the used market.

It also depends on what sound you're going for... of course they're all different, and will have different components depending on the brand, model, etc. Some might sound more vintage, others more modern, some might sound amazing while clean, others might be able to handle more gain and effects, others may already have built in effects (modelling amps)... the possibilities are endless, but I'd certainly say look on your local used market!

Ok, only now I remembered about this thread so sorry for the long wait. I want one which I can play at home, but also use it to play in gigs. I heard Orange amps are quite cheap from where I am and I heard them being used and it sounded good. The pedals I think I can find on my own. Have a good day and sorry for the late response…

Careful with a Crush, very flimsy build quality. The circuit us built well enough but the chassis is more of an L bracket with a faceplate and the pcb isn't secured to it in a way that I would be comfortable with. But with the low pricing of the crush line I can't blame them for cutting a corner. Just don't bang it into anything.

They also make that solid state pedal platform amp... haven't been in one. Try it out.

Speaking of solid state amps, everyone should try a Quilter. It's hard to believe those tiny amps aren't tube amps or digital modelers, but they're just well designed to behave like a tube amp.

I bought a microblock45 pedal sized amp as a backup when they still made them and I'm still really impressed. It sounds very very good even when producing it's own overdrive, which sounds better than most dirt boxes and responds to your playing almost as well as a tube amp. I've frequently touted Quilters on this and other forums. I have the cheapest, shittiest one and it's pretty darn good.

If you need a gigging combo:

I've never seen an Aviator Cub combo in person so if someone knows of a store near them that carries Quilter amps, please try this thing or the channel switching version and report back. Or if someone has the balls to order one as their new amp let's see some youtube videos.
