Best and worst bass you've played?

Best basses: some very good musicmen (?), they have a brilliant feel, and a lovely sound, which is great for slap, funk, and other beefy middy bass tones, but is all around pretty versatile. I haven't really owned any of these. My bass is really shit, it's a dodgy p bass rip off, that I got free from a friend.

Best 3 basses: fender marcus miller bass, fleabass (stingray with a less good element), fender squier fm fretless jazz bass Worst: My 32 scale fleabass and all basses with only one pickup thats almost next to the neck

Best is the one I just bought. Atelier Z 4 string with 2 Jazz pups and a MM pup in between them. The neck is so sexy and long yet thin for Japanese hands. The pups are Atelier brand and they sound very strong. I THINK this bass is passive. I haven't opened it up yet, but if it is, it's the first passive bass I have ever really liked the sound of.

Worst bass was the Hadean EB-9705 or something like that.

The neck was built like a staircase and had 3 bumps along it. The bass was a neck-through. The frets were so sharp it cut one of my calluses in twain.

Oh, and I also played a Hofner. Yikes.

Not all hofners are bad, Some of them are just not Well made. Same for fender ect.

I meant the Memphis in the 90s was the worst bass.... otherwise no preference I guess. I tend to like the musicman stingrays.

Hofner guitars and basses are all over the map, especially since they started outsourcing their low end.

The best bass I played was Epiphone Thunderbird classic pro IV, I can't describe why, it just feel right when I play it. The worst bass? I don't know what it was, but looks like a copy of stingray, the weight's killing me and the sound was meh

À copy from stagg? Thise are way to heavy

Dunno, played it long time ago when I don't have any basses yet so I should use a rent bass for a practice with my band
