Best high end strat style guitar

I am looking for a high end strat style guitar. My price cap is 2500. What would you reccomend? It doesn't have to be fender.

Marchione Guitars, no relation to me, just coincidence. Stephen makes a 1 piece neck and body strat that is amazing.... made 2 for knopfler... but tis REALLY high end. Like vintage car pricing.

In more traditional offerings I like King Bee

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

If I had to recommend a Strat it would be one of these:

Fender American Professional II $1500, Dark Night finish looks awesome, available with rosewood or maple fretboards and HSS or SSS pickup configurations, comes with hardshell case.

Fender Deluxe Strat $855, Blizzard Pearl finish looks awesome, Comes with gig-bag.

Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Strat $1750, Full scalloped maple fretboard, Brass inserts with machine screws in bolt on neck, Comes with hardshell case.

Fender Ritchie Blackmore Strat $1225, Full scalloped rosewood fretboard, Dummy pickup in middle position, Comes with gig-bag.

GEAR:
  • Washburn T-24 Taurus Bass
  • Gibson EB-3
  • Epiphone Les Paul Custom Pro Koa - Limited Edition

And for a Strat-Copy it would be one of these:

G&L Tribute Comanche $600, Has three really weird split-coil type pickups.

Charvel Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 HH Fr $900, Deep Purple Metallic finish looks awesome, Seymour Duncan pickups, Floyd Rose tremolo.

Jackson Pro Series Signature Mick Thomson Soloist SL2 $900, Slipknot guy's signature guitar.

Jackson X Series Soloist SL3XDX $750, Silver Crakle finish looks awesome, two hot-rail single-coils and a humbucker in the bridge.

Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder III FR $800, Aurora Burst finish looks awesome, Floyd Rose tremolo.

Schecter C-1 Exotic Ebony $750, Striped ebony top looks awesome, full inlayed fretboard, Wilkinson tremolo.

Kramer Nightswan $900, Polka-dot finish looks weird, humbuckers are positioned closer to the bridge than most guitars.

EVH Striped Series $900-$1000 EVH Striped paint-job looks epic, single bridge humbucker, single volume pot, no tone controls, Floyd Rose tremolo with "D-Tuna" Droptuner.

GEAR:
  • Washburn T-24 Taurus Bass
  • Gibson EB-3
  • Epiphone Les Paul Custom Pro Koa - Limited Edition

some of my options that I might add are the prs silver sky and the Ernie ball cutlass

Yeah, but those are like $3000 Guitars aren't they?

And also, I don't like Ernie Ball Music Man. I think their products are way overpriced, except maybe the Petrucci models with the advanced Tonewoods, Electronics, Ergonomics, Finishes, etc. PRS I'm not into but they're okay.

you can't go wrong on a Jackson.... I found the neck on the one I had to be a bit wimpy but it was meant for shred.... I definitely bought it because it was superlatively well made. I only let go of it because I didn't use it. So I second jackson and charvel as options. Both are great. The performer and soloist are just great guitars.

I don't like music man either... meh

Could do a Mod Shop Strat and have a semi-custom shop that's sort of uniquely yours?

There's also the Fender Exotic Rarities series, they had some really nice looking Strats in that.

There's also This Vigier HSS that's under your price range, used, has a couple of dings. But it's a Vigier, so that's a thing.

The PRS Silver Sky some people say is the Strat Killer, I disagree, I don't care for it myself--but I don't care for PRS. YMMV.

There's all manner of Ibanez JEMs and the RG Prestige series in that price range, you may even find the occasional Woody for that--they're a Super Strat, don't know if you're going for HSH or want SSS or what, but that's an option.

I guess the main question would be "What are you looking for out of this guitar?"

GEAR:
  • Vox V241 Bulldog
  • Kay KDG 70
  • Lotus/Morris L-400 Falcon Guitar

I would like either a HSS or SSS

Another idea I've had in my head is to modify a Strat with these Stacked Potentiometers. Basicly it's two pots stacked on top of each other and its got these split knobs so you could have a Volume and a Tone on top of each other, so you take three of these pots, do a bit of fancy wireing and then you have a Volume and Tone for each Pickup, add a 5-Way selecter switch and you have basicly the ultimate control Strat.

I got the idea from the new Paranormal Jazz Basses Squier relesed this year as it has the same kind of pots (look at it from a side angle).
