Best SG Pickups?

i honestly like mini humbuckers in sg the best but for full size 61r and 61t are stellar pick ups

You already know that I'd love a mini-bucker SG, but mine only has a half pickguard so the routings would be all gross. ;P That said, I'll look into those pups

you could use metal firebird rings to mount minis in a full size bucker route a la neil young's old black

there are so many options ive seen some epiphones second hand that guys have put filtertrons in as well not sure ur thoughts on those in an sg

a fitlertron is a really cool choice for the enck position of an SG... TV jones even makes a great mount for gibsons as well as a fitlertron in a PAF sized case

i love the tv jones in les pauls necks i havent been able to get my hands on one but ive heard some guys with them and its such a good combination

I like my TV Jones pups in Teles. That is a motherfucking killer sound. I'll definitely look into the mini-buckers, but I'm not sure at all about the filtertrons.

just the neck pickup... it aleviates the neck boominess if you wanna do neck clean volume rolled back and bridge full volume for dirt... also nice in the middle position with the neck vol at 5ish.... I don't do it on my SGs because I want a round, gibson jazz tone available from any gibby and its nice to have the clapton woman tone with a fuzz and the filtertron is too spanky for that. But I've tried it and its a good thing for guys who just do modern rock.
