Boosting a Boss DS-1

I love my Boss DS-1 Distortion, but it sounds really low compared to my other pedals. What would you recommend to boost the volume of the DS-1 without it effecting the rest of the signal chain?

Well, I have two drive pedals on my board, a DS-1 and an EHX Green Russian, I find the DS-1 is louder than the GR with the Volume knobs maxed, so I just adjusted the volume knobs to lower the DS-1 to the GR's output level, made my Chorus pedals a but louder too with Distortion. Best I can suggest is just mess with the Volume/Tone controls on all the other pedals.
