I recently purchased a 1989(?) squire HM strat with 2 single coils and a bridge humbucker + tremolo, korean made. Quite cheap, 150 € and great playability, perfect value for money.

The Squier Affinity series is pretty good for the price if you're looking at new options.

I've used the JT-300 for years now, and all i've had to do to keep it sounding good is replace the output jack once. Other than that, a great cheap strat.

I've tried a Cort G-Series Strat and it was quite all right. It produces an all right tone and has a good feeling. It may not sound very well with too heavy strings.
