Cheap Tube Amp

Hey Guys, I realised the other day that my "AMAZING" line 6 spider, might need replacing, now that I am getting more of a decent guitarist (Is there even an amp better?), however I am struggling to find a decent quality amp, with good tone within 0-125 pounds. Any ideas?

I recently upgraded my cheap Ibanez Tone Blaster half stack to a tiny Orange OR15. It's WAY more than enough power for any gig. I used it outside for a 4th of July fest this summer and you could hear it blocks away. You could plug it into a 2x12 cab and get really awesome sound without all the size/weight.

the tiny terror is a great modern amp but its probably out of your price range, on your budget you are looking at a vox ac4tv, used (though it might not pack the wattage punch you need

You need to scour ebay and get an older, less popular amp, UK manufacturers made tons of great little tube amps and not all of them have attained collector status

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp
