Delay Pedals for Tap Dancing

Hi guys, I'm looking for a inexpensive delay pedal with note divisions and an external input for a tap tempo, has anyone got any suggestions??

(By inexpensive I'm meaning sub 150 as I'm looking to buy two and stack them into each other U2 style)

There isn't. I've said this before and I'll say it again, you get what you pay for when it comes to time-based effects.

Believe me, I've been in your spot before, trading in delay and reverb pedals left to right trying to find that perfect, inexpensive unit. The truth of the matter is, it just doesn't exist. Nothing beats high-end units such as the Strymon TimeLine and BigSky.

If you want time-based FX units that will be worthwhile, expect to pay at LEAST 300-500 USD for it. Good, cheap delay/reverb pedals just doesn't exist. And I'm not saying this because I'm a gear snob. It's just a fact.

Please save up for the Stryfecta (Mobius, TimeLine and BigSky). You'll be doing yourself a favor by saving up for it, as if you decide to go with inexpensive pedals and you end up hating those, those pedals will be extremely hard sells as everyone's gonna try to go for the newest, greatest thing instead of an outdated pedal.

Pete Thorn has done an amazing demo video on the TimeLine. I highly recommend you check out his video. Once you go with Strymon's, it's extremely difficult to go back to budget delay pedals.

Strymon is amazing, I think everyone can agree on that. But I just can't justify spending 500-600 quid on a delay when I'm using a 300 quid guitar into a 40 quid spring reverb and a 80 quid amp 😂 Not to mention the amount of features it's packed with that I'd just never use, it would be a waste of a pedal.
