Gibson Explorer?

Anybody know a cheaper version of the Epiphone/Gisbon Explorer?

The ESP LTD EX models are cheap and very good quality for the price. this is the cheapest model though I would recomend going for a mid to high end model

Jackson Kelly?

The epis aren't usually too expensive

And anything sub that osrt of epi price will be a pile of crap, so I'd get a decent guitar. I've learnt my lesson about buying something on the cheap, its a waste, and you'll regret it later.

Greco, 70s or 80s

what about a Hamer Standard from the 90s import series? Explorer with a maple cap. One of those will run you about 400USD used.

Or there's always the mighty Ibanez Destroyer. My buddy Mike still rocks his 70s Destroyer sometimes. Its a pretty hard rockin' guitar.

That red one is a STEAL. The solid color paint jobs, assuming it's the original, are a little pricier than the burst colors usually. Look like it's in good shape too. Someone needs to buy that thing.
