Jay Turser Custom Shop how good are guitars?

Can't speak for the custom shop, but the standard JT-300 I've had for about 5 years has held up surprisingly well. It's a pretty good quality affordable guitar.

I've never tried one myself, but a musician I knew through close friends, who was always critical of every guitar maker when we discussed the topic, someone who had played guitar and bass professionally with well-known acts since the 1960s, and owned many classic pre-CBS and custom shop Fenders, was very impressed by the standard JT products and even opted to play them at gigs on occasion.
